Cory is originally from California but has since adopted Las Vegas, Nevada, as his hometown.
In 2014 Cory graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor's degree in both English and Criminology. Prior to attending law school, Cory worked as a research assistant for UNLV's Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering, working on research striving for the college to become a tier-one institution.
In 2016 Cory was accepted into the William S. Boyd School of Law on an academic scholarship and graduated in 2019 with Pro Bono Honors. During law school, Cory earned valuable experience working in the areas of Family Law (including Divorce and Custody Matters), compliance, and personal injury.
Cory volunteers his time participating in the Clark County School District's Truancy Diversion Program, which endeavors to reduce the number of students entering the formal juvenile justice system as a result of skipping school.
Outside of work, Cory enjoys spending time with family and his two Labradors named Archibald and Carlton.
