Revocable Living Trusts in Las Vegas
A revocable living trust allows you to place assets in the trust during your lifetime in order to avoid probate upon your passing, keep your affairs and assets private, and provide easier and quicker access to assets and support for your family for their needs.
How a Revocable Living Trust Works
You create the trust during your lifetime and transfer your assets to the trust (i.e. referred to as funding the trust). During your lifetime, you are the Trustee (responsible for holding legal title to the assets and managing the assets) and the Beneficiary (meaning that the assets can only be used for your benefit). You retain the ability to amend and/or revoke the trust in any manner that you desire so long as you are living and competent. Upon death, the trust becomes irrevocable (can no longer be amended) and a successor Trustee steps in to administer and distribute the assets in the manner that you have directed—all without the need for court approval, disclosure, or oversight.
