McKenna Traywick
Paralegal
McKenna is a paralegal at Leavitt Law Firm, where she works alongside attorney Angela Lizada. She keeps clients’ cases organized and on schedule by tracking deadlines, preparing and reviewing documents, and keeping their cases moving along.
McKenna brings 13 years of law firm experience in Austin and Corpus Christi, Texas. Her work has covered commercial litigation, administrative and regulatory law, multidistrict product liability litigation, and appeals. High-pressure, deadline-driven litigation taught her that details matter, and that staying calm and organized helps everyone around her, especially the client. She has often been the person colleagues turn to when a case hits a roadblock and needs a different way forward, and she would much rather find a solution than stay stuck on the obstacle.
McKenna came to family law because she wanted to help people through hard situations, and she believes this is where that matters most. She approaches every client with empathy and prioritizes their feeling heard and understood first. She also wants them to know their team is fighting for them through one of the most difficult times of their lives. Her favorite part of the job is making a stressful process feel clearer, so clients know what is happening and what comes next.
A Corpus Christi native, McKenna moved to Las Vegas for her husband’s job. She lives here with her husband, her daughter, and their two cats, whom she is completely obsessed with. Outside the office, she is a Texas girl who loves football and is a self-described reality TV buff, with Bravo and competition shows as her guilty pleasure. She also enjoys hiking and cooking for the people she cares about.
